CSCS MD Tasks Staff to improve on customers and shareholders’ satisfaction

Managing Director of the Central Securities Clearing Systems Plc, CSCS, Mr. Kyari Bukar has urged the staff members of the company to turns new leave in order to improve customers and shareholders’ satisfaction this year and beyond.

Kyari who spoke at the end of the year’s party in Lagos at the week end disclosed that the company’s performance in 2013 was 50 per cent higher than 2012.

The CSCS boss used occasion to thank the workers for the performance and with higher expectation for 2014 while attributed the impressive performance to prudent financial management of resources and successful implementation of a corporate transformation agenda

Kyari pointed out that the result for being hard working and successful is that all eyes will be on you and as such you have to work harder. It means we have to do a lot more this year to satisfy our owners.

 The company had recorded 77 per cent growth in profit in 2012 and paid a dividend of 15k per share also recorded Profit before tax rose from N1.73 billion in 2011 to N3.06 billion in 2013, while total assets stood at N15.43 billion, up from N13.64 billion the previous year.

Kyari noted that CSCS has expanded its Data Exchange Platform to include modules to cater for settlement banks, stockbroking firms, and custodian entities. He emphasized that the company’s culture of respect and appreciation of its people accounted for the continued success in its operations.

The CSCS boss is of the opinion that the company’s focus would primarily be on Assets Safety and further improve on its clearing and settlement mechanism to ensure increased efficiency in its service offerings in the Nigerian capital market as a financial market infrastructure responsible for clearing and settlement of all traded securities in the Nigerian Capital Market,
