In other to deepen penetration rate in the retail insurance market, Leadway Assurance has announced its Franchise Branch Ownership Opportunity scheme. An ‘Open House’ session will be held on Saturday, 25th November, 2017 to intimate prospective franchisees about what the Leadway franchise entails.
The innovative programme tagged ‘Revolupreneur’ a third-party opportunity for 1,000 enthusiastic entrepreneurs who desire to build their businesses and profit from the imminent growth of the insurance sector was conceived to further penetration rate in the retail insurance market.
The firm’s affirmed that the Revolupreneur scheme is open to business minded SME owners, corporate personnel or sales person looking to make extra income; entrepreneurs seeking to explore more profitable ventures and basically anyone interested in selling ‘risk protection’ in form of insurance.
Under the scheme, franchise branches can be opened at non-traditional locations such as universities, shopping malls and airports in line with Leadway Assurance guidelines. Prospective Franchisees are not required to have prior experience in the insurance industry to qualify.
Speaking on the Revolupreneur scheme, the Executive Director, General Business, Leadway Assurance, Adetola Adegbayi, said, “over the years, the Nigerian insurance industry has been affected by a huge skill gap which consequently has affected penetration in Nigeria.
