The outreach, conducted in partnership with Misnoory Foundation, is part of Fidelity Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to alleviate hunger, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Bank staff distributed food packs to vulnerable individuals, including women, widows, and children, ensuring they have sustenance during the fasting period.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head, Brands and Communications at Fidelity Bank Plc, highlighted the bank’s dedication to community impact through strategic social interventions.

“At Fidelity Bank, social responsibility is a core value. Our Fidelity Food Bank initiative was launched to support the vulnerable and fight hunger as part of our contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 2—Zero Hunger. Since April 2023, we have distributed over 150,000 food packs across Nigeria, providing relief to thousands of families. Our outreach in Kabuga is another testament to our unwavering commitment to making a difference.”
