UAC of Nigeria Plc has appointed Mr Ibikunle Oriola as its group finance director.
The firm described Oriola as a seasoned professional with 17 years of experience gained from diverse functional roles covering finance, strategy, risk management and corporate finance.
It said in a statement that Oriola had provided strategic finance leadership, driving transformational and growth agenda of conglomerate businesses spanning several sectors such as hospitality, real estate, power, agriculture and asset management.
The statement read in part, “Ibikunle worked as group chief finance officer at Asset and Resource Management Golding Company Limited, where he had oversight on the group’s finance function.
“Prior to that, he was the group CFO of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc, responsible for executing a broad range of finance and ancillary roles. He is an Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria-qualified accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Lagos.”
The statement added that Oriola was expected to deploy his rich experience to the development and implementation of appropriate financial strategies to uplift productivity and business performance across the UAC Group.
