The Onne Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has been recognized as the Best in Anti-Smuggling Activities during the CGC Award and Gala Night. This prestigious award highlights the Command’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and ensuring public safety through the interception of arms, ammunition, and illegal drugs.
Speaking on the achievement, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Mohammed Babandede, attributed the success to teamwork within the Command. “This award is a testament to the collective efforts of every officer and staff in the Command. Without their dedication and collaboration, we wouldn’t have achieved this milestone in protecting public health and saving lives,” he said.
Comptroller Babandede expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all officers and staff of the Onne Area Command for their relentless contributions toward ensuring a safer Nigeria.
