Speaking during the media briefing, Chief Strategy Officer AbdulHakeem Buhari highlighted the company’s six decades of resilience and innovation. “Life begins at 60,” he proclaimed, underscoring Ardova’s dedication to redefining value creation in an era of energy transformation. “Ardova embodies a vision where energy innovation meets economic empowerment,” he added.

Central to this vision is Ardova’s $500 million ultra-modern LPG terminal in Lagos, a groundbreaking investment that positions the company as a key player in West Africa’s energy infrastructure. With the capacity to store 30 kilotons of LPG, the facility addresses 60% of Nigeria’s domestic demand, creating opportunities to revolutionize energy access for households and businesses alike.

The Managing Director, Moshood Olajide, reinforced Ardova’s focus on sustainability and diversification, emphasizing that the company is not merely in the business of energy but empowerment. “We are prepared to collaborate with Dangote Refinery to serve Nigerians better,” Olajide stated, alluding to a shared commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s energy security.

In alignment with Nigeria’s “Decade of Gas” initiative, Ardova has amplified its investment in LPG as a bridge fuel to a sustainable energy future. Reflecting on past achievements, Ardova recalled its consistent financial growth, including a 5.95% revenue increase to N181.66 billion during its 43rd Annual General Meeting in 2021. These milestones serve as a testament to the company’s ability to adapt and thrive amidst challenges.
