The Chairman, Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption, Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado who was arrested by the Inspector General of Police monitoring unit has been released.
Rimingado was arrested on Friday evening over the confiscation of property allegedly linked to a national chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The anti-graft commission chairman, who was released on bail on self-recognition, was asked to write a statement before his release around 10:45 pm Friday night.
However, the police directed Rimingado to report at the Force headquarters in Abuja on Monday for further questioning.
