The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON, FCIArb (UK), has been conferred with the Highest Honorary Fellowship Award by the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. The prestigious recognition celebrates his remarkable contributions to national development and the transformative progress he has championed in the aviation sector.
The award was presented by the institution’s Rector, Dr. M.A. Akinde, during the 45th Founder’s Day Anniversary and 22nd Convocation Ceremony, held today, February 19, 2025, in Ilaro, Ogun State.
Beyond his distinguished career in aviation, the honor also acknowledges Minister Keyamo’s deep-rooted ties to the Ilaro community. With maternal lineage from Ilaro, and both his father and grandfather having spent a significant part of their lives in the town, the award symbolizes a homecoming of excellence.
