In a groundbreaking move to enhance nutrition accessibility in Nigeria, Nestlé Nigeria has launched Golden Morn 3in1, the country’s first fully ready-to-eat cereal. This innovative product combines maize, soya, and milk in a convenient single-serve pack, requiring only the addition of water to deliver a complete, nutritious meal at any time of the day.
Since its introduction in 1986, Golden Morn has remained a household favorite, earning its place as Nigeria’s most consumed cereal. Building on this legacy, Golden Morn 3in1 is designed to meet the needs of modern consumers who seek both affordability and convenience without compromising on nutrition.
Speaking at the unveiling, Wassim Elhusseini, Managing Director and CEO of Nestlé Nigeria, emphasized the company’s commitment to consumer-driven innovation:

Developed over two years of rigorous research and consumer insights, this product ensures families can enjoy a balanced meal with ease. The launch comes at a critical time when food affordability remains a pressing challenge. According to the State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2024 Report, an estimated 172 million Nigerians were unable to afford a healthy diet in 2022. Recognizing this urgent need, Nestlé Nigeria has positioned Golden Morn 3in1 as a cost-effective solution to help bridge the nutritional gap.
Omofasa Orhiunu, Category Manager for Healthy Cereals at Nestlé Nigeria, highlighted the product’s value in tackling food insecurity:
