 The Leadway Group has reinforced its dedication to women’s empowerment by celebrating the first anniversary of Hersurred, its pioneering women’s community. Since its launch in 2024, Hersurred has provided women with critical tools, resources, and networks to support their personal and professional growth.

Under the anniversary theme “Here for Her,” the event honoured the achievements of women while fostering mentorship, information sharing, and action-driven initiatives to close gender gaps.

Expanding Advocacy and Impact

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the 2025 Hersurred anniversary showcased Leadway Group’s unwavering commitment to inclusion and gender equity. The event brought together influential women from government, finance, oil & gas, and insurance, who shared insights on advancing diversity and inclusion.

The event was structured into two key sessions:

  1. Fireside Chat: Strengthening Women’s Advocacy Through Policy Formulation
    • Featured Tejumola Abisoye, a renowned development expert, and Yemisi Rotimi, Chief Finance Officer, Leadway Group.
  2. Roundtable Discussion: “Beyond the Manifesto: Turning Advocacy into Action”
    • Panelists included:
      • Mrs. Kunbi Adeoti, Leadway’s Chief People Experience Officer
      • Engr. Chichi Emenike, Managing Director & Gas Asset Manager, Neconde Energy
      • Oluwatosin Olaseinde, Founder/CEO, Money Africa
