NLNG Shipping and Marine Services Limited (NSML) has unveiled its new corporate identity, signaling a strategic transformation into a global leader in integrated maritime services. The rebranding, marked by the launch of a new logo, reflects NSML’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and sustainability in the maritime sector.

Speaking at the unveiling event in Lagos, NSML’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Abdulkadir K. Ahmed, emphasized the company’s evolution from a manning agency to a fully integrated marine services provider. The new identity aligns with the NLNG Group’s ongoing rebranding initiative, reinforcing NSML’s mission to drive excellence and competitiveness on the international maritime stage.

“Today marks the dawn of a new era for NSML as we reposition ourselves as a formidable global maritime player. We have built a reputation for innovation and excellence, ensuring seamless LNG delivery worldwide while pioneering sustainable shipping solutions,” Ahmed stated.

Ahmed highlighted NSML’s strategic expansion over the past 15 years, transitioning from crew management to a comprehensive suite of shipping, marine, and offshore services. A key milestone in this journey is the establishment of the Maritime Centre of Excellence (MCOE) within the NLNG Plant complex on Bonny Island.This state-of-the-art training and research center, the first of its kind in the region, offers cutting-edge shipping operations simulation and real-world maritime training. According to Ahmed, the facility underscores NSML’s dedication to developing world-class maritime talent, fostering innovation, and supporting Nigeria’s shipping industry growth.

“This training center is more than a facility; it is a symbol of our investment in knowledge, skill development, and the next generation of maritime professionals,” Ahmed added.

A New Identity for a Sustainable Future

NSML’s rebranding is accompanied by a modernized logo designed to reflect agility, evolution, and industry leadership. The logo features an “advanced swivel” in green, blue, and lemon hues, each representing core aspects of the company’s vision:

  • Lemon – Reflecting innovation and forward-thinking maritime solutions
