In a grand celebration of excellence and leadership in Nigeria’s aviation industry, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, was honoured with the prestigious Aviation CEO of the Year Award at the 2025 Nigeria Aviation (NiGAV) Awards held last night.

The glittering ceremony, which brought together key players, regulators, and stakeholders in the aviation and aerospace sectors, recognized Mrs. Kuku’s outstanding performance, visionary leadership, and tireless dedication to transforming Nigeria’s airport infrastructure and service delivery standards.

Since her appointment, Mrs. Kuku has been widely acknowledged for her reform-driven approach, championing initiatives that have elevated FAAN’s operational efficiency, improved safety standards, enhanced passenger experience, and attracted new investments to the sector.
