In a powerful stride towards enhancing professional development and industry engagement, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Professional Practice Group (PPG) has forged a dynamic alliance with one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous professional services firms, SIAO, to co-develop its 2025 Workshops and Symposium series.
The collaboration was formalized during a courtesy visit led by Engr. Prisca Kanebi, Chairman of the PPG and National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers. Her visit to SIAO’s head office was not just symbolic—it marked a commitment to deeper synergy, mutual growth, and shared impact.
Kanebi noted SIAO’s impressive track record, including its recent 20th anniversary milestone and its expansive reach across Africa. She also applauded SIAO’s active engagement within the LCCI community, highlighting its status as a valued Chamber member.
Welcoming the PPG team, SIAO’s Managing Partner, Mr. Abiodun Ariyibi, expressed eagerness to collaborate on key initiatives, including the much-anticipated PPG Networking Dinner set for May 29, 2025. The event is expected to set the tone for the forthcoming Workshops and Symposium, where SIAO’s expertise and sponsorship are anticipated to play a pivotal role.
According to Kanebi, discussions during the visit spanned global economic trends, financial discipline, and the importance of corporate accountability—critical themes that resonate deeply with the professional base of the PPG.
The meeting closed on a celebratory note with a ceremonial exchange of gifts—a plaque from the LCCI and a gift pack from SIAO—symbolizing mutual respect and the beginning of a stronger working relationship.
Among the delegation were distinguished professionals including Yeye Adenike Shobanjo, Past Vice President of LCCI and CEO of AS+A Communications; Dr. Alex Ajibo, FCA, FCIB, Vice Chairman of the SME Group at LCCI; Mr. Hakeem B. Olajide, CEO of Ascentree Services Ltd; and Mr. Omeiza Jegede, Secretary of the PPG.
As the PPG charts its course for 2025, this alliance with SIAO stands as a strategic milestone—signaling a renewed focus on collaboration, thought leadership, and economic impact within Nigeria’s business landscape.
