Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria 2025 Sets New Attendance Record with 18.5% Surge at 10th Anniversary Celebration

The landmark 10th Anniversary edition of Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria 2025 wrapped up with resounding success, earning widespread acclaim from exhibitors, trade visitors, panelists, and delegates across West and Central Africa.

Held at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, the three-day event recorded a remarkable 18.5% surge in attendance, attracting 2,230 top industry professionals — a powerful testament to its growing stature as West Africa’s foremost platform for agrofood, plastics, printing, and packaging innovation.

This milestone edition redefined excellence, showcasing world-class exhibitions, dynamic international collaborations, and unprecedented government and private sector engagement. From Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, China, and South Africa’s national pavilions to Nigeria’s brightest innovators, cutting-edge technologies and transformative solutions were at the forefront, offering a glimpse into the future of Nigeria’s industrial and agricultural sectors.

Germany, honoured as the 2025 Guest of Honour, took center stage, underlining its long-standing commitment to advancing Nigeria’s industrial capabilities. Exhibitors reported a stronger international footprint, with visitors streaming in not just from across Nigeria, but also neighbouring West and Central African markets.

Business buzzed on the floor, with thousands of high-value discussions, while the conference component delivered forty-two thought-provoking sessions led by ninety expert speakers, unpacking critical trends, investment landscapes, and regulatory insights. Across the board, participants lauded the 2025 edition as the most impactful and well-attended yet.

Speaking on the achievement, Paul Maerz, Managing Director of fairtrade Messe, remarked:

Building on the momentum, organisers announced The Netherlands as the Guest of Honour for the 2026 edition, further strengthening the enduring partnership between Nigeria and the Dutch Government in the agrofood sector. The 2026 focus will spotlight Dutch leadership in sustainable agriculture, innovative food systems, and climate-smart practices, promising fresh avenues for collaboration, investment, and knowledge transfer.

Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria 2026 is scheduled for March 24–26, 2026, at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, continuing its tradition of shaping the future of Nigeria’s agro-industrial landscape.
