Nigeria’s leading aviation ground handling company, Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance), has inked a series of new and renewed contracts with five airlines—Royal Air Maroc, Kenya Airways, Enugu Air, Dornier Aviation, and Cronos Airlines—further solidifying its reputation as the aviation industry’s total solutions provider.

In a statement released this week, NAHCO revealed that Royal Air Maroc has signed a new five-year contract covering cargo freighter and cargo warehousing operations in Lagos and Abuja. This new deal, set to run until November 2029, expands on an existing handling agreement with the Moroccan national carrier, which already includes all other areas of its operations in Nigeria.

Kenya Airways also renewed its handling agreement with NAHCO for another five years. The deal spans both passenger and cargo operations across Nigeria and allows for any new destinations the airline may initiate within the contract period.

In a bid to support local operators, NAHCO entered into a three-year contract with Dornier Aviation. The deal covers passenger flight handling services across major Nigerian airports including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Osubi, along with other regional locations.

New domestic entrant, Enugu Air, selected NAHCO as its ground handling partner across all operational locations in Nigeria. The five-year agreement entrusts NAHCO with the passenger operations of the fledgling airline, reflecting the new carrier’s confidence in NAHCO’s four decades of handling expertise.

Additionally, Cronos Airlines renewed its agreement with NAHCO for another three years. The deal covers passenger flight handling services at both Lagos and Port Harcourt airports.

These new contracts mark a continued pattern of both international and domestic airlines placing their trust in NAHCO for dependable and professional ground handling services. Earlier this year, NAHCO also secured deals with regional carriers Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone, enhancing its presence across West Africa.

Prince Saheed Lasisi, Group Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development at NAHCO, expressed satisfaction with the new contracts. “This is truly very good for NAHCO and the airlines. When an aircraft is on ground, there’s one company trusted to handle it with utmost care—NAHCO. Airlines seeking quality service always return to us,” he said.

Group Managing Director, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, described the string of deals as a testament to NAHCO’s strength and consistency. “This signifies greater things to come. We remain committed to continuous improvements that meet and exceed client expectations,” Olumekun stated.

With these new deals, NAHCO reinforces its leadership in aviation ground handling, showcasing its capacity, experience, and reliability as a preferred partner for airlines operating in Nigeria and the West African region.
