Marketers, Industries, and Large Users to Benefit from Initiative Starting August 15, 2025

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery is poised to redefine the country’s energy landscape, with plans to commence the distribution of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and diesel directly to marketers, petrol dealers, manufacturers, telecom firms, aviation companies, and large-scale users across the country, starting August 15, 2025.

The new policy forms a key part of Dangote’s ongoing drive toward strengthening energy independence and improving the delivery of petroleum products across all sectors of the Nigerian economy.

To enable this transformation, the refinery is adding 4,000 CNG-powered tankers to its delivery network and developing over 100 CNG stations across the country — a significant investment in both logistics and clean-energy delivery.

Additionally, high-volume marketers can enjoy a two-week credit facility under bank guarantee after purchasing a minimum of 500,000 litres of product, adding financial flexibility to aid their operations.

This strategic move resonates with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering economic growth, strengthening small and medium enterprises (SMEs), improving employment, reducing inflation, and stabilizing the country’s energy sector.

“The aim is to enable every corner of the country to enjoy convenient access to high-demand petroleum products, while strengthening the financial base of marketers and industry players alike,” a Dangote Refinery representative said in a statement.

Registration for participation and KYC verification is currently underway and will remain open until August 15, 2025 — a total window of 60 days.
