Nigeria’s economic diplomacy drive under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received fresh momentum as Minister of Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, hosted top diplomats from the Netherlands, Russia, Mexico, and China in Abuja.
The strategic meeting, announced on the Presidency’s official X handle, aimed to deepen Nigeria’s global economic integration in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Discussions covered new opportunities in trade facilitation, investment promotion, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and the digital economy.
Oduwole reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to building a competitive, investor-friendly environment that fosters innovation and global market access.
The visiting envoys lauded Nigeria’s reform agenda and pledged stronger partnerships that go beyond capital inflows to include skills transfer, infrastructure development, and technology adoption.
