The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh wave of prophecies touching on Nigeria’s economy, financial institutions, and governance. In his latest revelation, the renowned cleric warned that the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) risks imminent disgrace over alleged fraudulent practices within the Service, while also sounding alarm bells about an internal power struggle within the nation’s banking sector that could threaten the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and destabilize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking during a prophetic session shared with journalists, Primate Ayodele did not mince words as he predicted that the current Customs boss could soon face public humiliation if decisive steps are not taken to address corruption and mismanagement within the Service.
“That’s why I’m warning the CG of Customs now — they will soon disgrace him,” Ayodele declared. “His time is coming. All the noise and arrogance will backfire. There’s fraud in Customs, and it will soon be exposed. The leadership must act fast before this scandal explodes.”
Turning his focus to the financial sector, Primate Ayodele revealed that two powerful commercial banks are secretly plotting to undermine the performance and credibility of the CBN Governor. He warned that if the CBN Governor fails to maintain a close working relationship with the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, the rift could embolden these financial institutions to manipulate the system and weaken government control over monetary policy.
“Something is happening in the CBN that can affect Tinubu’s government,” the cleric cautioned. “There are two banks that are ready to fight this government and frustrate the CBN Governor’s efforts. If the CBN Governor and the Minister of Finance don’t work hand-in-hand, these banks will exploit their disunity to create instability. The two leaders must put aside differences and work in harmony for the sake of Nigeria’s economy.”
Primate Ayodele emphasized that effective collaboration between the CBN and the Finance Ministry is essential for achieving macroeconomic stability, restoring investor confidence, and curbing potential sabotage by financial actors seeking to exploit weaknesses in government coordination.
“It is not a good sign when the Central Bank and the Finance Ministry are not on the same page. They must share intelligence, policy direction, and vision. Otherwise, the cracks will be used by economic saboteurs to weaken the Tinubu administration from within,” he added.
In his broader message, the prophet issued a symbolic warning to an unnamed top government official, describing him as “sitting on a golden chair,” urging him to protect his position from internal betrayal and external manipulation.

“You are sitting on a golden chair; don’t let them break your golden chair,” he advised.
The cleric also prophesied that Nigeria’s youth will one day achieve groundbreaking technological advancements, including in the field of nuclear research and weapon development, transforming Nigeria into a nation of global scientific influence.
“I see young Nigerians who will build nuclear weapons in the future. Nigeria will become a powerful and innovative nation, but corruption, pride, and lack of unity must first be overcome,” Primate Ayodele stated.
Over the years, Primate Ayodele has gained wide attention for his prophecies, many of which have been viewed as insightful warnings on governance, security, and the economy. His latest predictions have sparked conversations about institutional transparency and the urgent need for synergy among Nigeria’s top financial policymakers.
With the CBN currently managing foreign exchange volatility and the Ministry of Finance driving fiscal reforms, analysts believe Ayodele’s warning underscores the delicate balance needed to stabilize Nigeria’s economy and sustain public trust.
Primate Elijah Ayodele warns that the Customs CG faces imminent disgrace over alleged fraud, reveals that two powerful banks are plotting to undermine the CBN Governor’s performance, and urges strong collaboration with the Finance Minister to prevent economic instability.
