“This win is for NNPC Limited. This win is for impact. This win is for Africa.”

SERAS Founder Applauds NNPC Foundation’s Leadership

Founder of SERAS Africa, Mr. Ken Egbas, commended the Foundation’s exceptional record and transformational impact on communities across Nigeria.

He noted that the 2025 edition recorded 325 entries from 31 African countries, underscoring the growth of the awards since their inception in 2007.

Egbas described SERAS as the second-oldest sustainability award globally after the Reuters Business Award and now the benchmark for sustainability excellence in Africa.

In an emotional address, he said the awards celebrate real human stories—children gaining education, communities accessing clean water, and citizens regaining their sight.

“Africa needs more. Africa deserves more. The future demands more,” he said, calling on institutions to deepen their commitment to building an inclusive, sustainable Africa.
