Air Peace has announced a temporary disruption to its flight operations following a bird strike incident involving one of its aircraft operating the Lagos–Port Harcourt route on Wednesday, January 22, 2026.
According to the airline, the aircraft experienced a bird strike upon arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport. In line with international aviation safety procedures, the affected aircraft was immediately subjected to mandatory technical inspections to ensure continued airworthiness.
