“I am committed to championing growth—for our members, for the association, and for the strategic recognition of our profession.”

First Vice President Chinwe Bode-Akinwande, who delivered the vote of thanks, called for collective effort among members to amplify ACAMB’s initiatives.
“The work of amplification belongs to each of us. We have heard your feedback and are ready to hit the ground running. We have full confidence that this Executive Council will achieve great milestones,” she stated.
Reflecting on his tenure, immediate past President Rasheed Bolarinwa highlighted accomplishments in professionalizing ACAMB membership, particularly through collaborations with regulatory bodies that enabled members to formalize certifications.

“Today, nearly every banking communications professional belongs to key professional associations, enhancing our collective credibility and professional standards,” he noted.
Addressing ongoing bank recapitalization and potential mergers, Bolarinwa reassured members about the stability of the sector.

“There are no issues of concern. Any mergers or acquisitions will ultimately benefit the industry and its workforce. Members have nothing to fear,” he said.
As the new executive council assumes office, the banking communications community is closely watching how the team will drive growth, promote unity, and strengthen advocacy for professionals across the financial sector.
