Air Peace Celebrates One Year of Lagos-London Flights with Grand Rewards for Passengers

Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline and the largest carrier in West and Central Africa, marked the first anniversary of its Lagos-London operations with a grand celebration, rewarding passengers for their loyalty and support. The milestone event, held on board its LOS-LGW and LGW-LOS flights, featured exciting giveaways, a raffle draw, and a special cake-cutting ceremony.

As a gesture of appreciation to its esteemed customers, Air Peace conducted a raffle draw that saw 20 lucky passengers winning complimentary rides to their destinations across the UK and Lagos. Specifically, 10 winners enjoyed free Simplaa Mobility rides from Gatwick Airport to various locations in the UK, while 7 passengers arriving in Lagos were treated to seamless GTi rides from Murtala Muhammed Airport (MM2) to their respective destinations. Additionally, 3 passengers received free rides courtesy of Sixt Mobility, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience.

Adding to the excitement, five economy-class passengers received surprise upgrades to business class, elevating their journey with premium comfort and luxury. A key highlight of the celebration was the cutting of the anniversary cake by delighted passengers aboard the Lagos-London flight, symbolizing a year of excellence in connectivity between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Since its inaugural flight on March 30, 2024, Air Peace’s Lagos-London route has firmly established itself as a preferred choice for transcontinental travel. Over the past year, the airline has successfully operated 662 flights on the route, transporting more than 136,661 passengers. The achievement highlights Air Peace’s role in expanding Nigeria’s international aviation footprint while offering seamless and affordable travel options.
