Nigerian flag carrier Air Peace is charting new territory again—this time from the Federal Capital Territory. Starting October 26, the airline will commence daily direct flights from Abuja to London Heathrow, offering round-trip fares from just ₦1,000,000 aboard its wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft.

Confirming the development, the airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo-Wiskey, described the route as a strategic move to expand global access for Nigerians and promote fairer pricing in international air travel.
“We are proud to announce our daily Abuja–London service as part of our mission to connect more Nigerian cities directly to key global destinations,” Osifo-Wiskey said. “With return fares starting at ₦1 million, we’re delivering value and convenience while boosting Nigeria’s aviation footprint.”

Passengers will enjoy a full range of cabin options—Economy, Business, and First Class—with the comfort and hospitality that has become synonymous with Air Peace. The airline’s deployment of the Boeing 777 ensures spacious seating, premium onboard service, and modern flight amenities.

The Abuja–London launch follows the success of Air Peace’s Lagos–London route, which has disrupted traditional pricing models and provided travelers with more competitive options. With this new expansion, the capital city now becomes a gateway to Europe, offering direct, affordable travel without routing through Lagos or foreign hubs.

Industry experts have hailed the development as a bold step that will decentralize international air access in Nigeria and provide massive relief for travelers based in Abuja and northern Nigeria. The ₦1 million round-trip fare (approx. $1,000) is seen as a major win for price-conscious flyers who previously paid significantly more on competing foreign airlines.

Bookings are now open via flyairpeace.com and through the airline’s nationwide sales outlets and authorized trade partners.

For many, this new service is more than just another international route—it’s a symbol of national pride, aviation growth, and accessible global travel powered by a homegrown airline.
