In a reaffirmation of its leadership and long-standing heritage in Nigeria’s beverage industry, Nigerian Breweries Plc (NB Plc) has restated its unflinching commitment to customer satisfaction, excellence, and enduring partnerships. The declaration came during a special customer tour of the company’s Lagos Brewery, organized as part of the activities marking the 2025 Customer Service Week.
The event gave distributors, retailers, and business partners a rare opportunity to experience firsthand NB Plc’s world-class operations — from its brewing excellence and innovative production processes to its far-reaching sustainability initiatives.
Speaking during the engagement, Mr. Uzodinma Odenigbo, Corporate Affairs Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, lauded customers for their loyalty, resilience, and invaluable contributions to the company’s success story spanning nearly eight decades.
“At Nigerian Breweries, our commitment transcends the production of quality beverages. It’s about creating shared value for our customers, communities, and partners,” Odenigbo said.
“We believe that long-term business success is built on strong relationships, mutual trust, and a collective drive for excellence. As we look to the future, we remain resolute in refreshing our consumers, empowering our partners, and contributing significantly to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.”
Odenigbo further emphasized that the company’s investment in innovation, technology, and sustainability reflects its deliberate strategy to remain a responsible corporate citizen and maintain its leadership position in the Nigerian manufacturing sector.
Also speaking, Mr. Nduka Nnabuihe, Brewery Manager, represented by Mr. Félix Ofolue, reiterated that the company’s customer-centric culture remains a defining pillar of its operations.
“Our customers are treated like royalty — they are at the core of everything we do,” Nnabuihe said.
“From product quality to distribution efficiency, we ensure that customer satisfaction drives every decision. With over 79 years of sustained excellence, we are proud of our legacy and look forward to the next century of growth, innovation, and collaboration with our stakeholders.”
Among the visiting customers, Mr. Ability Akpan commended Nigerian Breweries for its unwavering support to distributors and retailers, noting that such commitment has enabled many businesses to thrive despite Nigeria’s economic headwinds.
“NB Plc’s consistent support has helped us remain resilient even in tough times,” Akpan remarked. “We only appeal for improved product availability to meet rising consumer demand.”
Similarly, Mr. Okpe Essien, operator of Brave Spots, applauded the company’s exceptional service delivery and the dedication of its sales representatives.
“I am grateful for Nigerian Breweries’ commitment to ensuring that I always get what I need to serve my customers better,” Essien said. “Their sales team visits regularly, offers discounts, and ensures product availability — it’s a model of true partnership.”
As the event concluded, the message from Nigerian Breweries was clear: the journey to excellence is ongoing, and customers remain the heart of its legacy — a legacy built on trust, partnership, and service to Nigeria for nearly 80 years.
