United Nigeria Airlines has unveiled an exciting onboard promotional campaign that will see lucky passengers win brand-new Samsung Galaxy smartphones during flights scheduled for May 29, 2026.
The airline announced that passengers flying on its Lagos–Abuja–Lagos (LOS-ABV-LOS) route on the special day will automatically qualify for a mid-air “Lucky Dip” draw tagged the “Samsung Awesome Row,” where selected travelers will walk away with premium Samsung Galaxy devices.
According to the airline, every passenger onboard has an equal opportunity to emerge a winner, with no extra payment or special requirements needed beyond holding a valid boarding pass.
The campaign is being organised in partnership with Samsung and technology brand promoter Kagantech, as part of efforts to enhance customer travel experience and reward passenger loyalty.
United Nigeria Airlines disclosed that the initiative follows the success of a similar campaign held last year, during which 11 lucky passengers won brand-new Samsung Galaxy smartphones onboard various flights.
In a promotional statement released ahead of the event, the airline encouraged Nigerians planning to travel during the Democracy Day holiday period to secure their seats early as bookings for May 29 flights are already filling up rapidly.
“Fly United Nigeria Airlines this May 29th and win a brand-new Samsung phone mid-air. Every passenger onboard stands an equal chance to win. Your boarding pass is your golden ticket,” the airline stated.
Passengers onboard will also have the opportunity to experience Samsung’s latest Galaxy A57 and A37 devices during the flight activation.
Industry observers say the campaign reflects growing competition among domestic airlines to improve customer engagement through lifestyle partnerships, onboard entertainment, and reward-based travel experiences.
United Nigeria Airlines has continued to position itself as one of Nigeria’s fast-growing indigenous carriers, operating major domestic routes while introducing customer-centric initiatives aimed at strengthening passenger satisfaction and brand loyalty.
The airline noted that terms and conditions apply to the promotional draw.
