Air Peace has once again demonstrated why it remains a leader in Nigerian aviation, following a flawless flight from Abuja to London Heathrow on 24 January 2026. Passengers on board experienced a journey marked by efficiency, comfort, and a distinctly Nigerian touch.

Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines and a veteran international traveler of nearly four decades, described the flight experience as “7-star,” commending every stage from check-in to landing.

“The check-in process was world-class, departure was on schedule, and the inflight service was exceptional,” Prof. Okonkwo said. “The lunch meal, a delightful combination of Nigerian and continental dishes, was truly ‘AirPeaceous.’ Even the landing at Heathrow Airport, despite the large Boeing 777 aircraft, was smooth and precise — almost bird-like.”

He also paid tribute to Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, the founder and CEO of Air Peace, widely regarded as the “King of Nigerian Airspace.” “To my dear brother and ally for life, Allen, I am forever proud of you. May Almighty God continue to bless you as you set the pace for the industry and break barriers that make it easier for others to follow,” Prof. Okonkwo added.

The flight is a reflection of Air Peace’s growing reputation for excellence in both domestic and international operations, showcasing a combination of operational efficiency, premium customer service, and the warmth of Nigerian hospitality.
“Air Peace is truly our own,” Prof. Okonkwo concluded, reaffirming the airline’s position as a standard-bearer for Nigeria in global aviation.
