The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has announced plans to host a major industry convergence, the 2026 Oil & Gas Midstream & Downstream Stakeholders Summit, scheduled for May 19–20, 2026, in Lagos.

The high-level summit will take place at the Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos, and is expected to attract a powerful mix of stakeholders across Nigeria’s energy value chain, including government officials, regulators, investors, financiers, operators, and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors.

Organisers say the summit is designed as a strategic platform to unlock new investment opportunities in Nigeria’s midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, which continue to evolve under the framework of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).
Against the backdrop of ongoing sector reforms, the event will focus on deepening investor confidence, improving regulatory clarity, and strengthening collaboration across critical segments such as refining, gas processing, storage, transportation, and distribution.
The NCDMB emphasized that the summit will also serve as a deal-making and partnership forum, where capital providers can connectemphasisedwith bankable projects, while operators explore new financing and expansion opportunities within Nigeria’s energy landscape.
