‎The management of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), led by Commissioner for Insurance Olusegun Ayo Omosehin, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Barrister. Rotimi Edu, describing his death as a painful loss to Nigeria’s insurance industry and the wider financial services sector.
The visit, according to the Commission, was both a gesture of solidarity with the bereaved family and a tribute to a man whose professional legacy helped shape the growth and transformation of the insurance industry in Nigeria.
Barr. Rotimi Edu, mni, FCIB, was widely regarded as one of the respected voices within the insurance and financial services community, known for his commitment to professionalism, institutional development, and ethical leadership.
During the condolence visit, the NAICOM leadership reflected on his years of service and acknowledged the immense contributions he made toward advancing insurance practice, strengthening professional standards, and supporting reforms within the sector.
