The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has unveiled a new weekly television programme, FAAN In Focus, aimed at providing regular updates on reforms, infrastructure upgrades, and strategic developments within Nigeria’s aviation sector.

The 30-minute programme is designed to deepen public understanding of ongoing transformation efforts across the nation’s airports while strengthening transparency, stakeholder engagement, and public accountability in line with FAAN’s communication strategy.

According to the Authority, FAAN In Focus will serve as a dedicated media platform to highlight key milestones in airport modernization, safety and security improvements, passenger experience enhancements, and broader sector reforms aligned with the aviation component of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

To ensure wide reach, the programme will air across major national and international broadcast platforms including Channels Television, the NTA Network Service, Arise News, TVC News, and Global Television, leveraging both terrestrial and satellite distribution channels for maximum visibility.

Speaking at the launch, FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire, described the initiative as a strategic communication milestone designed to bridge the information gap between the agency and the public.

“FAAN In Focus represents an important milestone in our communication strategy. Through this platform, Nigerians will have regular access to accurate and engaging information about the transformation taking place across our airports and the wider aviation ecosystem,” Agbebire said.

“It will showcase our projects, highlight reforms, explain policy initiatives and strengthen public understanding of aviation’s role in national development.”

He added that the programme will also function as a stakeholder engagement bridge, connecting FAAN with passengers, investors, aviation operators, development partners, and the general public.

Produced by HS Studios and coordinated by veteran media practitioner Taye Ige, the programme will be anchored by seasoned broadcaster Tolulope Adeleru-Balogun. It is expected to evolve into a key reference point for aviation reportage and policy communication in Nigeria’s transport sector.

FAAN says FAAN In Focus reinforces its commitment to openness, improved service delivery, and continuous modernization of airport infrastructure across the country.

FAAN launches “FAAN In Focus,” a weekly TV programme airing on Channels TV, NTA, Arise News, and others to showcase Nigeria’s aviation reforms, airport upgrades, and modernization drive.
